Hi, I'm Jo and I want to help you through the peri-menopause and menopause. With over 13 million women in the UK going through the menopause and doctor appointments like finding a unicorn so many women face the menopause alone. That's what happened to me and I don't want that for anyone else. I want to help give you the tools and confidence to get through the menopause. You aren't alone.<\/p>
<\/p>
My background was working in IT but after many years doing the job I loved and working with others I had to step away due to ill health. When I started to experience the peri-menopause I had no information and it was a quick chat with the doctor, so I muddled through. Fast forward to 2019, I then needed a hysterectomy, again I muddled through.<\/p>
<\/p>
In 2022, I started to research the menopause and I saw that there were so many women going through what I did with no help or support. That's when I decided that I wanted to retrain and learn as much as I could about the menopause and peri-menopause. With a refresher Coaching Diploma and having finished my second Menopause qualification I will soon be offering coaching sessions to women who need help and support with what can be a challenging transition to the 3rd stage of our lives.<\/p>

I can\u2019t wait to start helping and working with other women going through this milestone in life. I think so many of us feel very alone during the menopause and we shouldn\u2019t.<\/p>

Nog Pepper Me and these are our values<\/h2>
Turn a lonely menopause experience into a caring, supportive time.<\/h3>
That's my biggest goal for Nog Pepper Me to turn what can be a totally isolating time for many women into a time that is supportive and caring. No one should lose years to the menopause like I have but unfortunately many other women do and I don't want that to continue. If I can write just one article that helps someone find answers or get help, then I've achieved something.<\/p>

Put an end to clothing that makes you're hot flashes worse. Try our organic cotton tops, to help keep you cool.<\/h3>
We only use 100% organic cotton for our t-shirts and sweatshirts which is perfect for anyone suffering from the classic menopause symptom hot flashes (or hot flushes).<\/p>
<\/p>
Natural materials are better for keeping you cool during those moments of overheating! They allow your skin to breathe, which in turn keeps you cool. They also don't trap heat or odour in like nylon or polyester do.<\/p>

Woo hoo! Nog Pepper Me is now powered by solar! Early summer 2022, Andy and I decided to invest in solar panels for our home. We wanted to do this not only to stop scary energy bills but we both felt it was the perfect time to try and do our little bit for the environment. So our main home office is now powered by the sun to match the production of our t-shirts and tops. We want to build a business that is sustainable in everything we do.<\/p>

It's all in a name.<\/h3>
So where did my shop name come from? It's named after my two American Curls Nog and Pepper. Ever since I finished work they have been my companions and you will often find the three of us sat on the sofa with Nog leaning against me, Pepper in the middle and then me. So that's where Nog Pepper Me comes from!<\/p>
<\/p>
We now have 2 new additions called Ziggy and Cass. Ziggy is like a mini me of Nog! And Cass his little brother, is a little purr machine. And not forgetting Jomo, a Siberian who loves to greet everyone and snore loudly!<\/p>
<\/p>
And of course, I couldn't do this without the support of Andy, my hubby, who has cheered me on when times have been tough.<\/p>
